Smolspace: Picket 225

For years, the Colonial Federation has been at war with alien Compact. The Federation has made its stand at the system of Farpoint and forced the Compact's war machine to grind to a halt, but only just.

It's only a matter of time until something breaks.

You are low-ranking pilot in the Federation navy, assigned to keep the peace in a sector far from the fighting. 

Your immediate concerns are much smaller. Chasing down pirates and escorting freighters through the Frontier are necessary, but not exactly exciting.

Until now.

Your first opponent is the finite speed of light.
